Felix M. Rodriguez, LCSW, ACSW - Director of Operations and Social Services

Felix Rodriguez joined Friend Family Health Center (FFHC) in June of 2009, where he is currently the Director of Operations and Social Services and oversees the day to day operations of five community health centers. Mr. Rodriguez is a licensed clinical social worker with over 27 years of experience in primary and behavioral health care services. Prior to joining FFHC he worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, universities, employee assistance programs, and community based organizations. His involvement in the field has ranged from direct service to quality assurance, management, training, private practice, and consulting.
He received his MSW from the University of Pennsylvania in 1980. In addition, in 1993 he was awarded a certificate in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Business Administration; Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies. He has been a Senior Field Educator for Special Projects, at the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration. As Chief Clinical Officer, for a large Chicago community base behavioral health agency in Chicago, he spearheaded the day to day clinical operations and professional development services delivered to 15,000 clients served annually, and 700 staff members, respectively, throughout four states.
Felix is an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at the State University of New York, School of Social Welfare in Stony Brook, New York. He was born in Puerto Rico, raised in the South Bronx in New York City, and is bilingual in reading, writing, and speaking English and Spanish.
